"Chocolate" (2008) is a Thai martial arts action film centered on Zen, an autistic teenage girl with extraordinary reflexes and the ability to mimic any martial arts moves she observes. Born to Zin, a former gangster's lover, Zen grows up watching Muay Thai fighters and martial arts movies, learning to fight on her own. When Zin falls ill with cancer, Zen and her friend Moom embark on a dangerous quest to collect debts owed to Zin by ruthless criminals from her past as a moneylender. Using her exceptional fighting skills, Zen confronts gangsters and deadly foes in a high-energy battle for survival and to pay for her mother’s treatment.
