Swells

Sometimes it isn’t safe to go to the shoreline. Typhoons far from shore can cause swells, which will often cause huge waves when approaching the coast. The weather and the sea may look nice and calm but your life may already be under threat. Stay tuned to the Hong Kong Observatory’s forecast and warning messages on swells.
