This story arc involving Dorothy trying to get back to Kansas concludes with Dandy Lion trying to get Dorothy back by growing a gigantic tree that they can climb up, as according to Dandy, Kansas is on the other side of the sky. But he's wrong; instead, Topsy-Turvy Town is! Then it leads to one of those old magnesia ("Amnesia! AMNESIA!") plot devices with the Wizard.
Note how when a character with black dots for eyes gets amnesia, they suddenly grow sclerae!
