Follow Tom, a regular boy in San Francisco's Chinatown, as he unexpectedly becomes the guardian of a phoenix egg when his grandmother, a mystical figure, passes away. To protect the egg, Tom apprentices with Mr. Hu, a tiger mentor, and joins forces with a unique group of creatures embodying the Chinese zodiac, blending ancient magic and animal traits in their quest.
