The Nintendo Switch 2 has been jailbroken, no modchip required!

Security researcher pepsipu has revealed ns2jb, a software-only jailbreak reportedly working on Switch 2 firmware 23.0.1. It enables native code execution, opening the door to homebrew, game modding, reverse engineering, and save backups. The proof of concept even shows Mario Kart World running with custom characters! There's a catch: the jailbreak is tethered, meaning it must be triggered again after a reboot. It isn't a permanent jailbreak or a complete custom firmware solution. Still, this could be a major step forward for the Switch 2 modding scene.
