The Disappearance of Jelani Day | Stranger Than Fiction

Jelani Day was a 25-year-old graduate student in a quiet college town, full of promise, laughter, friends - the kind of person whose future was supposed to be wide open. In 2022, he vanished. Twelve days later: his car, abandoned deep in the woods. And then his body, found in the river, miles from anything his family or police could connect. The official story? Unclear. The timeline? Broken. The questions? Endless. Phone logs disappear. Witnesses remember different things. Surveillance footage shows nothing. Injuries that don’t match suicide. And a community that wants answers. What really happened in those missing days? A simple disappearance, a tragic accident, or something darker, more deliberate? #truecrime #mystery #strangerthanfiction #truecrimeshorts #jelaniday
