The Mother of Monsters Part 1 | She Gave Birth To A Dragon, Raised It In Secret, And The Village Cal

A grieving mother. A forbidden secret. A love that the village will never understand. After losing her baby, Alara tells everyone she buried her child in the mountains alone. But the truth is far more shocking. Inside a snowy cave, she finds a mysterious egg... and it hatches into a baby pink dragon. She names her Amber. She feeds her in secret, hides her in her small house, bathes her in a wooden tub, and watches her grow impossibly fast. But a hungry dragon needs meat, and a small medieval village starts to notice. Sheep are disappearing. Whispers turn into accusations. Marda is watching. The priest is suspicious. And when the villagers finally discover what Alara is hiding, they don't see a child - they see a monster and a witch who must be punished. Amber will have to choose: stay and protect the only mother she's ever known, or fly away to survive. This is a heartbreaking dark fantasy about motherhood, prejudice, and a love that crosses species. Will Amber come back to save her? Will Alara survive the wrath of the village?
