Ashley Padilla almost quit comedy before joining the cast of Saturday Night Live, feeling tired from doing sketch comedy at the Groundlings and going on auditions.
Padilla was Diane Keaton's assistant and helped create her 2024 book, Fashion First, learning from Keaton that there are other ways to make money and be creative.
Despite initially resisting uploading her comedy online, Padilla's sketch show, Party of Three, gained momentum and led to her showcasing for SNL.
