On 2b2t, the dragon egg is a holy object. One per world, ever — hunted, stolen, hidden at
secret coordinates, and used as proof of who really runs the server.
On 6b6t, somebody built a mountain out of them and posted the coordinates publicly.
This is the full story of how the rarest block in Minecraft became worthless on one anarchy
server — the February 2022 dupe the owner switched on deliberately, the donkey dupe, the
IKEA dupe, the lava dupe, the official 72-hour dupe events, and what happened to the egg
afterwards. Which was: nothing. No wars, no sieges, no manhunts. Raiders crack a stash,
take the end crystals and the totems and the gear, and step over the dragon eggs, because
an egg cannot kill anyone.
I also could not find the one story I actually wanted. Nobody recorded who killed the first
dragon on the current map. A month after they did it the item was worth nothing, so nobody
bothered to remember them. If you know who it was, put it in the comments — I will check it,
and if it holds up I will make a follow-up and credit you.
One thing I want to be straight about: a lot of old anarchy-server history was written by
the players themselves, and some of it is a joke. Where I could not verify something, I say
so in the video instead of filling the gap.
