Before You Leave is a short film about the strange weight of ordinary places when you know you’re seeing them for the last time.
During his final evening in the neighborhood, a young man takes one last walk with a friend. Nothing dramatic happens. He buys a drink, passes familiar streets, notices an old bicycle, touches places he has probably walked past hundreds of times.
Slowly, an ordinary summer evening becomes a goodbye.
The film was created as an exploration of AI-assisted filmmaking, focusing on character consistency, natural handheld movement, environmental storytelling, and the imperfections of personal home-video footage rather than polished commercial cinematography.
