"THE PRODIGAL SON" Season 2, Episode 12 in english The story begins in the present day with Chris Quantum’s home life in tension. Chris is completely convinced that his father's household rules are far too strict, unfair, and designed to ruin his fun. Consumed by a desire for total freedom, Chris dreams of packing his bags, running away from home, and living entirely by his own choices without anyone telling him what to do.To show him the true value of a loving family, Superbook activates and teleports Chris, Joy, and Gizmo to ancient Judea. There, they listen to Jesus deliver one of His most famous parables: the story of the Prodigal Son. The children watch as a wealthy man's younger son demands his share of the family inheritance early, turns his back on his father, and leaves for a distant country. The kids follow the young man as he wastes all his wealth on wild, extravagant living until a severe famine hits the land, leaving him completely broke, starving, and forced to work feeding pigs.Realizing his massive mistake, the humiliated son decides to return home, hoping his father will hire him as a lowly servant. To the children's amazement, the father spots his son from a long distance, runs to him, throws his arms around him, and throws a massive celebration to welcome him back. Witnessing this profound picture of unconditional love and grace completely changes Chris's heart. He returns to the present day with a deep appreciation for his father's guidance, realizing that family rules are built out of love and protection.
