Amidst this darkness, they meet Noah, the only righteous and faithful person left on Earth.The kids witness Noah's unwavering faith as he receives a massive command from God to build a colossal ark out of gopher wood. Despite facing relentless mocking, laughter, and ridicule from his neighbors for building a massive boat on dry land where there is no sign of rain, Noah refuses to back down. The trio watches in awe as the animals arrive, the floodgates of heaven open, and a worldwide deluge reshapes the planet. Safe inside the ark, Noah’s family rides out the 40 days of rain until the storm clears, a dove returns with an olive leaf, and God paints a beautiful rainbow across the sky as a lasting covenant. Witnessing Noah's ultimate obedience gives Chris and Joy the backbone they need. They return to the present day with the moral courage to reject Pearce's dangerous influence and choose to head to school.
