Rangamati tourism has come alive during the monsoon. Continuous rainfall has restored the natural beauty of the hills, waterfalls, and streams. Tourists are increasingly visiting Subalong, Ghagra, Dhuppani, Muppochhari, and other waterfalls from different parts of Bangladesh. Some destinations can be reached by boat, while others require traveling through remote and challenging hill trails. The growing number of tourists is creating additional income opportunities for boat operators, hotels and restaurants, local guides, and small businesses. The tourism authorities have arranged various facilities and special attractions for monsoon visitors, including cottages and the hanging bridge. Authorities are also emphasizing safety, environmental protection, and planned infrastructure development in remote waterfall areas.
