# WALK THE NIGHT — CAMINO OF ST JOSEPH | Catholic Hip-Hop Big thank you to https://catholicweekly.com.au/ and @CatholicArchdioceseOfSydney for the superb coverage. “Walk, walk — Saint Joseph, lead the way!” This song brings a modern Hip-Hop / Rap sound to the story of Sydney's Camino of St Joseph, an overnight Catholic pilgrimage of prayer, sacrifice, brotherhood and faith. In the early hours of Saturday, 22 August, more than 1,500 men walked through inner Sydney behind a statue of Saint Joseph. While the city around them was filled with Friday-night nightlife, neon and noise, the pilgrims brought something different into the streets: the Rosary, prayer and the steady rhythm of footsteps. The journey began at St Patrick's Church, Church Hill, where men gathered for Mass and Confession before setting out. The pilgrimage covered more than 20 kilometres and visited seven historic churches: ⛪ St Patrick's, Church Hill ⛪ St Brendan's, Annandale ⛪ St Joseph's, Camperdown ⛪ St Benedict's, Broadway ⛪ St Peter's, Surry Hills ⛪ St Canice's, Elizabeth Bay ⛪ St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney Fathers, sons, teenagers, grandfathers, teachers and tradies walked together. Each man carried a different intention. For the sick. For his family. For his wife and children. For personal conversion. For the desire to become a better father and husband. For the courage to become the man God is calling him to be.
