The mod is set before the Black Mesa Incident, exploring Dr. Gordon Freeman's day-to-day at the facility. This specific chapter constitutes what is probably the first chronological Gman sighting from Gordon's POV and probably from any POV. Gordon makes his way to Dr. Kleiner's office only to find he has locked himself out. Referencing the throwaway line in Half-Life 2 Episode 1 where Alyx talks about Barney Calhoun and Gordon's vent racing days, we get to witness one of these races firsthand. In a reference to Half-Life 2 which was referencing Half-Life itself, we also learn how Barney ended up owing Gordon that beer. You are welcome to use the footage however you wish (excluding AI-related purposes) as long as you give credit to the creators of the mod and game and myself. Mod allows to look and take part at the events before Half-Life. You assume the role of Dr. Gordon Freeman. You will meet Kleiner, Vance, Barney, Rosenberg and other characters. Half-Life: Induction (also known as Half-Life 0: Induction and simply Induction) is a Russian made modification which takes place directly before the events of the original Half-Life and depicts the early hours of the day the Resonance Cascade occurred.
