John Reginald Halliday Christie, British 1940s-50s serial killer of Rillington Place

Taken from the excellent TV crime documentary series: "Great Crimes and Trials of the Twentieth Century", this is the true story of the grisly necrophiliac sex killer, John Christie of 10, Rillington place, London, whom, murdered at least even women and possibly took the life of a young child without, of course, necrophiliac tendencies...the latter is a sore point, the child of one of Christie's victims, a woman, Beryl Evans. Her husband, Timothy - is hanged for their murder. Yet, Christie,massaging the authorities into hanging Evans for that crime is free to continue his sickly spree - eventually sealing his fate, but not of course, without having been responsible for wiping out the entire Evans family. But, even though, he is facing the hangman's noose, he doesn't admit to killing the baby.
