Based on a harrowing true story of systemic child sexual abuse and cover-ups at the Gwangju Inhwa School for the Deaf. Gwangju Inhwa School for the Deaf was located in Gwangju, South Korea. However, the institution is permanently closed. Following nationwide outrage and investigations into decades of horrific abuse, the city government officially shut the school down in November 2011.
