The story follows Conrad Leto, a former Wizard King who was once sealed away for his extremist views. He returns with the "Imperial Sword" and resurrects three other legendary past Wizard Kings—Edward Avalaché, Princia Funnybunny, and Jester Garandros—to destroy the current Clover Kingdom and rebuild it from the ashes. Because Asta possesses Anti-Magic, he becomes the kingdom’s last hope in a massive, all-out war that features nearly every major character from the series.
