In the freezing rain, she headed to "The Seventh Neon." Inside, Sebastian Biel’s "It’s My Life" (2025) thundered like a manifesto of freedom. Then she saw him. Alex stepped out of a taxi, his graphene-titanium chassis shimmering. He whispered her name, and she threw herself into his arms, feeling the cold armor.

"I’m afraid," Alex confessed. "In a hundred years, I will remember this, but you will be gone. I won't know if my feelings are real or just looped data." "Maybe this won't survive in a cloud," she whispered, "but right now, you are dancing with me."
Alex pressed her hand to his armor. "I promise: your 'now' is worth more than all my eternities." He hid a deep sorrow; Anna was the final version of herself, and without a backup, every moment could be their last.
