Officer Black Belt is a Korean action-comedy about Lee Jung-do (Kim Woo-bin), a talented but directionless martial artist (triple black belt in Taekwondo, Judo, Kendo) who gets recruited as a "martial arts officer" to help probation officers monitor dangerous ex-convicts wearing electronic ankle monitors, leading him to find purpose as he teams up with officer Kim Sun-min (Kim Sung-kyun) to prevent crimes and confront serious offenders like a dangerous child molester. The film blends intense fight scenes with humor as Jung-do evolves from a carefree youth to a responsible officer dedicated to helping others.
