Notwithstanding Kang Chul's inclination to abscond from the capital in an effort to distance himself from the Eight-feet Spirit, Yeo Ri entreated him to lend his aid in the extirpation of the aforementioned entity and the deliverance of Yoon Gap. Regrettably, their endeavors were construed as a transgression of established legal statutes, specifically the performance of a ritual within the capital's confines, thereby precipitating their expulsion from the city by royal edict. Concurrently, the Eight-feet Spirit, undeterred by its previous setback, identified an alternative recipient for its nefarious predations.
