Farewell boss. We hardly knew ye. It was a Final Lesson we'll all carry in our hearts. And actually there are some parallels between this new area and Natlan. I mean you have the legend of someone coming back out of the fire and being blessed by the God of the Sun and Fire. Caesar even welcomes us by saying we'll "rise from the ashes." It only made sense they'd go out like Himeko-oneesan. Yeah no. I really appreciated the hint about what the ending would be like early on. I mean of course when the sacrifice happened nobody was surprised that it wouldn't stick. You have so many gacha dollars on the line lol. But often these fake out deaths just happen and get undone without any build up. Mihoyo expertly crafted a story around it with the "legend" of the first Overlord playing out and then a scientific explanation for the "miracle." That said it still went a little more into the dramatic side. I mean we saw her in the fire. It's not like they could go "well she was far enough away from it to escape." No she was literally in the middle of the fire! Wait so why am I titling this one the way I did? You'll just have to watch to the end. PS: Also yeah now I'm even more excited for v1.3.
