Based on a true story. I don't think so first of all the title. Malay is a language, not a country. All the fighting in Malaya which I assume is what they meant involved only British and Commonwealth forces and there were no Americans involved, which is what stopped Hollywood before.To watch the full movie here http://adfoc.us/83533797756413 Let's face it for the large numbers of people who believe that Hollywood films are true history, to say that they are based on a true story is an insult to all Allied forces involved in the war in the Far East. All I can say is don't waste your time on this garbage, there are much better movies you can watch.
