Shadow Under the Eaves

"Shadow Under the Eaves" tells the story of Wang Tao who discovers the truth behind his parents' death when he returns to his hometown. Upon arrival, Wang Tao notices villagers acting strangely toward him and rumors about his old house being haunted. During his investigation, he finds suspicious clues like rat poison packaging and his aunt's odd behavior, making him suspect she was involved in his parents' death. As he digs deeper, a woman named Alin appears, manipulating a mentally challenged person to pretend to be a ghost to guide Wang Tao toward the truth. Eventually, his aunt reveals that she protected Alin by sending her away, and explains the real circumstances of his parents' and uncle's deaths. Alin reconciles with her past and reunites with the aunt, while Wang Tao resolves his misunderstandings with his aunt, allowing everyone to begin a new chapter in their lives.
