Song Xiaoxiao and Gu Cheng are forced into marriage by their grandmothers, but both escape the wedding for their first loves. When the fake pregnancy is exposed, Gu Cheng is happy. His lie about liking men is also exposed, clearing up the misunderstanding about Qin Ran and recognizing Song Xiaoxiao as his bride. When they're about to be together, Jiang Mei's fake identity stands between them again. Gu Cheng exposes Jiang Mei's lies and plans to remarry Song Xiaoxiao, but she has gone abroad for international rescue work. Gu Cheng chases her to a war zone where they reunite. In the chaos, Song Xiaoxiao is injured and Gu Cheng saves her, leading to their wedding. However, the truth is that Gu Cheng's eyes were injured in the bombing, causing blurred vision. He didn't save Song Xiaoxiao but a foreign woman in similar clothes. The final wedding is just Gu Cheng's fantasy, while Song Xiaoxiao sacrificed herself for the great rescue mission.
