Horror Scream (Season 1)

“Screams of Terror” is a short drama steeped in suspense and tension, following a group of college students who, during their holiday break, are plunged into fear and faced with difficult choices by a bizarre murder case. The story centers on the protagonist, an ordinary student who, unable to ignore the disturbing noises coming from the next-door dorm room, ventures to remind them in the group chat. To his horror, they reply with a chilling photograph: a woman beheaded, her blood streaming down. This image unsettles him, leaving him to wonder whether he has truly witnessed a murder. Meanwhile, another classmate confides in him via WeChat that the woman in the photo was indeed killed—but if they report it, not only will the killer go unpunished, but he himself could face disciplinary action for staying on campus illegally. Caught between morality and reality, the protagonist is torn apart by doubt. Just as he hesitates, the man from Room 303 sends another video, attempting to prove his innocence. Yet the details within reveal the truth: the woman had already been dead, and the killer was staging the scene to evade capture. As the protagonist resolves to call the police, a knock at the door interrupts him. A voice claiming to be the woman from Room 303 begs for forgiveness and leaves behind a “gesture of reconciliation.” Through the peephole, the protagonist is stunned to see that the “dead woman” is still very much alive! This sudden twist brings him a moment of relief—yet it also deepens his confusion: was all this mere coincidence, or a meticulously crafted deception by the murderer? As the plot unfolds, the protagonist begins to uncover a far‑reaching conspiracy hidden beneath what seemed like a simple dorm dispute. And those classmates who appeared so close may not be as trustworthy as they seemed. Caught between fear and the truth, he must make a choice—one that will alter the fates of everyone involved.
