Silent Witness

In the 1980s, rich girl Liu Jin falls in love with poor driver Ma Dahai. Despite her father's strong opposition, they marry and have daughter Ma Yiyan. With Liu Jin's support, Ma Dahai becomes successful but then has an affair with Li Ping. Both women get pregnant and give birth to daughters. Li Ping, greedy for Liu Jin's wealth, convinces Ma Dahai to switch the babies and tries to kill her own daughter, but the crazy mother Zhen Feng saves the child. Years later, the switched daughter works as a maid in Liu's house and is bullied by the fake daughter Ma Yinuo. After many obstacles preventing her reunion with Liu Jin, the truth finally comes out. The real mother and daughter reunite, while Ma Dahai, Li Ping, and Ma Yinuo are punished and sent to prison. The mother and daughter live happily with Zhen Feng.
