Entering the World

Twenty-five years ago, the evil Rakshasa Soul Hall invaded Yunzhou, causing great bloodshed. Four major families - Lin, Tang, Chen, and Gao - suffered heavy losses and sought help from the World Association. Leader Nangong Chengfeng led his forces to defeat the invaders, then retired to Dragon Cloud Mountain. On his way, he found an abandoned baby boy and named him Lin Fan, raising him as his final disciple. Twenty years later, Lin Fan grew up but remained naive due to his sheltered life. The four families sent their children to learn martial arts as repayment. Nangong Chengfeng, overwhelmed, left Lin Fan in charge and went traveling. Lin Fan taught students including the outstanding Tang Lingxue, Han Shuyao, and Chen Xuan, but learned bad habits from them, causing chaos in the sect. When Nangong Chengfeng returned upon hearing that Rakshasa Soul Hall had secretly returned, he was furious at the disorder. He sent the students home, sealed Lin Fan's powers for one year as punishment, then left to investigate the enemy. After two years without his master's return, Lin Fan grew worried and decided to enter the world to find his former students and search for Nangong Chengfeng.
