Colony (2026) — Directed by Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan), this Korean action-horror follows biotech professor Se-jeong (Jun Ji-hyun), trapped in a Seoul high-rise after a fast-mutating mold virus is unleashed at a conference. Authorities seal the building, cutting off escape. The infected form a hive mind — they learn, share intelligence, and evolve, making every deadlier than typical zombies. The few survivors fight to outwit the swarm and find a way out before the outbreak spreads beyond the tower.
