The Japanese are a people devoid of arrogance

The Japanese are a people devoid of arrogance; they work incredibly hard yet never boast about their efforts. They do not look down on any task—respecting and embracing all forms of work—and they treat everyone, regardless of status, with respect. They never actively seek respect for themselves. One could go on praising them endlessly without ever running out of things to say. Having witnessed this firsthand, I hold them in high regard. 🫡
