The Fable is officially returning in January 2027 with Season 2, and the new teaser hints at one of the manga’s biggest and darkest storylines: the Yamaoka Arc.
Akira Sato, aka The Fable, is still under orders to live peacefully for a year without killing anyone. But with new schemes unfolding around him, including the mysterious Yamaoka, that mission is about to become much harder.
Tezuka Productions returns for the animation, with the main cast also coming back. The new season is set to air on Nippon TV and other networks in Japan.
