Is NATO now "good" or "bad"?
Given the developments of recent years in Europeāunder NATOās unchallenged dominance and with the EU acting as its vocal proponentādevelopments that have clearly diminished rather than enhanced security and prosperity; and especially considering the "NATO 2.0" scenarios, which promise further self-inflicted escalation leading to "endless war," one can at least conclude that NATO is no longer fulfilling its noble promises of defenseājust as the EU is failing to deliver on its promises of prosperity. Instead, they are ushering in the exact opposite: insecurity, danger, and impoverishment for their members due to an offensively oriented agendaāan agenda that violates, among other things, the NATO founding treaty, fundamental EU treaty principles, and, in part, international law.
What is to be done? Should we allow ourselves to be mesmerized by individuals suffering from the Derailed Elites Syndrome and their self-important posturing, letting their illusionsāor even their delusional ideas and the agendas and plans derived from themābe imposed upon us? Or should we respond to them and even actively oppose them?
Ultimately, this affects us both individually and as a societyāand does so in the long term [see the dystopian projections of "NATO 3.0," with their lethal and suicidal tendencies]. A few proposalsāwith a subversively ironic undertone:
