It is a tribute to Elvis as well as to the Beatles' debut album, *Please Please Me*—which is where the title comes from. The inspiration for each track was drawn from that album, with each song corresponding to one of the originals. Naturally, I adapted them to suit my age; I’m over fifty, so I wanted to tailor the themes to the reality of someone my age (haha).
