0 Ditonton01/09/2026

Six Malayalis remain unreachable following the devastating flash flood in Nepal. Communication with all six has reportedly been completely disrupted. The group includes four people holding Australian citizenship, one British citizen and 59-year-old American citizen Krishnakumar Raghavan. Krishnakumar’s relatives registered a missing-person alert with the NORKA Help Desk after failing to contact him. According to the available information, the six Malayalis were travelling in the China–Nepal border region when the flash flood struck. Authorities and families are awaiting verified information about their present location and safety. Meanwhile, 15 people who escaped from the disaster-affected areas and reached India have started their journey to Kerala. Two others are reportedly safe and continuing to stay in Nepal. Several Malayalis who had not registered their information with the NORKA Help Desk have also returned home in different groups. A 44-member group that had travelled to Kathmandu reached Kozhikode on Monday morning after travelling by road from Bengaluru. Families awaiting information should rely on official updates from NORKA and the authorities and avoid circulating unverified rescue or casualty claims.
