A rock anthem inspired by Baldwin IV, the legendary “Leper King” of Jerusalem. Despite a devastating illness, Baldwin led his kingdom through some of the most difficult years of the Crusader era, earning the loyalty and admiration of those who followed him.
This song is sung from the perspective of his soldiers, who witness their king endure suffering beyond imagination while continuing to govern, command, and inspire. Their answer is simple: if their king can bear the impossible, so can they.
