This evening, I had the privilege of experiencing the Gianni Versace Retrospective before it opened its doors to the world and I’m still processing.
450 pieces. 30 years of a vision that turned fashion into theatre, into sensation, into something that felt almost too alive to be contained in a museum.
Walking through it felt less like an exhibition and more like being inside someone’s obsession. The Baroque excess, the Oroton metallic mesh, the silk rooms..every corner was a reminder that Versace didn’t just dress bodies, he dressed moments.
Paris was always the right city for this. And you are in the city during this duration why don't you make the most of it.
📍 Musée Maillol, Paris
