After stopping to witness a gruesome and fatal highway accident on a remote road, the couple soon realizes they didn't leave the crash scene alone. A malicious, shape-shifting demonic entity known as "the Passenger" has hitched a ride, turning their nomadic dream into an escalating psychological and physical nightmare.
