Paolo Barbieri (CEO, Elite World Group & Elite Model World)

Paolo Barbieri is CEO of Elite World Group, a leading global fashion talent management company based in Paris, which includes the renowned Elite Model World agency and the popular Elite Model Look competition, and is one of the most important managers in the global fashion industry. Before becoming CEO of Elite World Group, Mr. Barbieri was the company’s Deputy CEO. Before that, he was CEO of Pacific Capital, after having served as CFO of mondoBIOTECH Holding AG. Prior to that, Mr. Barbieri was Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Pioneer Alternative Investments and founder, CEO, and CIO of Akros HFR Alternative Investments. Before that, he held roles as Managing Director for Banca Akros and as analyst for Interbanca, among others. Mr. Barbieri began his career at Procter & Gamble. Mr. Barbieri holds a Master’s degree in Business and Economics from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. ______________________________________ The CEO Leadership Series is the flagship event series of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and takes place at the Heilbronn campus.
