© 1987-2026 ABS-CBN Corporation (now licensed to Philippine Collective Media Corporation (owner) with ABS-CBN as the manager) DZMM is a news flagship AM radio station established by ABS-CBN in 1953 (during the era it was established as the first radio station of the former ABS (Alto Broadcasting System) of the Quirinos under President Elpidio Quirino's brother, Antonio.). Because ABS-CBN's franchise expired on 5/4/2020 and NTC issued a cease and desist order on ABS-CBN on 5/5/2020 and all of their radio and TV stations closed shop, as of 2025, DZMM resumed on air with the owner Philippine Collective Media Corporation assigned, because ABS-CBN lacked a valid franchise.
