"Tondo Girl" tells the story of a young woman from the slums of Manila who dreams of a good life of material prosperity, but realizes in the end that money cannot guarantee happiness. Directed by Manuel 'Fyke' Cinco and written by Antonio Mortal, the film stars Amy Austria, Vic Silayan, Joonee Gamboa, Mary Walter, Juan Rodrigo, Tetchie Agbayani, Lito Anzures, and Dondon Nakar among others.
