1971 - On The Buses

British TV hit Sitcom spin-off about two girl-chasing busmen in 1970s UK. The "Inspector" (Stephen Lewis) and equally long-suffering relatives of Stan Butler (Reg Varney, driver) and his Conductor friend, Jack Harper, (Bob Grant). Made by Hammer films, notably of horror film productions, THIS film actually beat the Bond film of that year in the box office!
