Duke Nukem Forever - BUT IT'S 2025 BABY!!!

I'm running a little dry Desc: hallow so basically this game has been forgotten but Duke Nukem Forever holds a special place in my childhood, I remember really wanting to buy the game but it wasn't anywhere to be found on the shelves, when a friend of mine coincidentally showed up with a copy and sold it to me because he didn't have an xbox. Me him and my other friend played this game ritually, I really feel like there are good portions to the game but also very... regretable ones. Regardless the perfect game to boot back then, with some friends and mountain dew = perfect day. My disc was broken and I couldn't play the hive mission LUCKILY. I hated that mission and the missions after that after I got older and got the disc fixed. The hive and missions after that was a real dissapointment I'm glad I never experienced. But that made me realize too, this game is an absolute banger when you play with mission select, and compared to 2025 titles... maybe we were too harsh on this game eh?
