I've been listening to klezmer music since I was a teen. Now, I've finally done something about it.
"Shtetl Beatnik" starts off as a rather dissonant piece that sorta, kinda has something to do with a certain type of jazz that seems to want to evoke chaos. A good example of this is the sax part of the intro to the show 'Homeland'. The song gradually moves toward klezmer, until it goes full-on freylakh. It ends in a hybrid state.
The song is built around a horn section (trumpet, alto sax, tenor sax, baritone trombone) and a clarinet, with a bandoneón (tango accordion) and a piano occasionally chiming in, and a rhythm section featuring an upright bass, drums and some hand percussion. It was great fun to work on this, especially the clarinet, which required great attention to detail to get it to sound at least somewhat like a klezmer clarinet.

The accompanying image was created with DeepAI using the name of the song plus "clarinet" as a prompt. I'm not sure what's more disconcerting about it - the three-fingered musician or the four-fingered mailbox robot.
