Gray dangles Teddy's backpack from the window. Sensing Gray might drop it; Teddy orders his friend Chad Jang to head outside and be ready to catch it. Chad leaves the class, begrudgingly wishing he had joined Phillip Kim when he had the chance.
Watching Teddy threaten and yell at him over the backpack confirms what Gray has already determined about him: Teddy is obsessed with superficial images, buying into big names and obsessing over possessions. Gray drops the backpack out the window.
When Teddy charges at him, Gray kicks a chair in his way and throws the blackboard's eraser in his face. As Teddy coughs from the chalk dust, Gray grabs him by the hair and smashes him in the face with the can of Coke that Eugene got. Teddy takes a swing at Gray, who dodges and proceeds to wrap his head in the curtain before repeatedly bashing him with the Coke can. He then uses the chair to jump up and kick the now-helpless Teddy. As a final touch, he marks Teddy's back with an X, warning Teddy that Yoosun's Helmet received something similar for earning his ire.
A now-drenched Chad returns to Class 1-5 with the bag. He opens the door and sees much to his horror—the triumphant Gray and the trembling defeated Teddy, his head still wrapped in the curtain.
