Kill Bill Volumen 1 (2003)

In a small chapel in El Paso, Texas, Bill and his former associates shoot Beatrix (who is pregnant with Bill's child). She survives the attack but falls into a coma. Four years later, Beatrix Kiddo awakens. She resolves to seek revenge and compiles a list of the people who ruined her life and that of her baby. She travels to Pasadena, California, and kills Vernita Green (codename: Copperhead)—who is now living as an ordinary housewife—though the fight is briefly interrupted by the arrival of Vernita's young daughter. She travels to Okinawa, Japan, to obtain a unique sword forged by the legendary master swordsman Hattori Hanzō, who comes out of retirement upon learning the weapon will be used against Bill. She travels to Tokyo to hunt down O-Ren Ishii (codename: Cottonmouth), who has become a Yakuza leader. After defeating bodyguard Gogo Yubari and the Crazy 88 army at the House of Blue Leaves club, she faces O-Ren in a snowy duel within a traditional garden and defeats her. Beatrix interrogates Sofie Fatale—O-Ren's lawyer and right-hand woman, whose life she spares but whose arm she severs—instructing her to deliver a message to Bill. At the end of the film, a major twist is revealed: Bill observes Sofie and discovers that Beatrix's daughter is still alive.
