Episodes 1 to 40: One hundred days before his coronation, the Crown Prince of France must fulfill an ancient covenant between the royal family and the House of Delacroix, France’s most celebrated musical dynasty.
For years, the Delacroix daughters have been raised knowing that one of them will become his bride. Then the prince makes an impossible choice. “I choose Timéo Delacroix.” Timéo is their younger brother, a world-famous pianist who has spent his life belonging to music rather than politics—and the one Delacroix child never prepared to be chosen.
With a single sentence, the prince overturns two sisters’ futures, throws an old covenant into crisis, and binds Timéo to a world he never asked to enter. One has belonged to the nation since birth. The other has belonged to music.
As the prince teaches Timéo what it means to carry a country, Timéo teaches him something the palace never could: what it means to be free. But as an ancient covenant becomes the prince’s most powerful weapon for rewriting the order he was born to inherit, Timéo begins to realize that his place beside him may never have been accidental. Because long before politics put Timéo’s name within reach, one fleeting glimpse of a boy at a piano may already have changed the future of the crown.
