It is a commemorative work for the 30th anniversary of Detective Conan anime. The special is written by Takeharu Sakurai. It first aired in September 25, 2026 and released on Netflix in Japan at the following day. As the new 10,000 yen banknote featuring the "Toto Tower" design is issued and the world is abuzz with excitement, Conan and the Detective Boys, along with Professor Agasa, Ran, and Sonoko, visit the Nagano factory of the Japan Banknote Printing Bureau. Meanwhile, at the Metropolitan Police Department, counterfeit money is found at the scene of a murder, and an investigation headquarters is set up. Amidst the public confusion caused by the unprecedented news of counterfeit money circulation, Conan and Heiji head to Osaka, where the counterfeit money is believed to have been printed.
