Welcome to another art discussion! 🎨 What if the biggest thing holding artists back isn't a lack of talent—but the belief that talent is everything? In this video, I break down one of the most common myths in art: the idea that great artists are simply born gifted. We'll talk about why consistent practice, observation, and learning the fundamentals matter far more than natural ability. If you've ever compared yourself to other artists, this conversation is for you. 🎥 In This Video: 0:00 -Why the myth of talent is so convincing 6:01 -What actually separates great artists from everyone else 10:15 -How to improve through practice instead of waiting to feel “gifted” 💡 The Truth About Talent: Talent might give someone a head start, but it doesn't replace thousands of hours of deliberate practice. Every strong artist builds their skills through repetition, mistakes, and a willingness to keep creating even when the work isn't perfect. Don't let the idea of talent become an excuse to stop drawing. Your consistency will always matter more than your starting point.
