Kai Mori is an ordinary university student whose life changes when he wakes up on a train with no memory of how he got there. Across from him sits Yuna Hoshino a mysterious girl who seems to know him far better than a stranger should.
When Kai asks if they have met before, Yuna gives him a heartbreaking answer:
“You forgot again.”
She shows him a photograph of the two of them together, taken the day before. Kai has no memory of it.
As strange memories begin flashing through his mind a hospital corridor, Yuna crying, a countdown reaching midnight Kai realizes that something is seriously wrong.
Then he notices someone in the background of the photograph.
Someone who looks exactly like him.
Yuna refuses to explain until Kai discovers the truth:
“He's you.”
Every day, Kai's memories disappear while Yuna remembers everything. Somewhere inside a mysterious repeating cycle are the answers to Kai's missing memories, Yuna's connection to him, and the identity of the other Kai.
As they investigate together, their growing relationship becomes tangled with a mystery neither of them can escape.
Why does Kai keep forgetting Yuna?
Why does Yuna remember every cycle?
