Monster Trip - Riding to Serra do Corvo Branco Park | Brazil

0 View1 day ago

🇬🇧 Better Than the Destination Is the Journey. Monster Trips is about the road, the landscape, the sound — and the feeling of getting there. In this first episode, I ride through the beautiful countryside of Urubici, in the mountains of Santa Catarina, southern Brazil, heading toward one of the region’s most spectacular destinations: Serra do Corvo Branco Park. The road leading through Serra do Corvo Branco was temporarily closed for construction, but the park remained open — and a perfect sunny day gave us the opportunity to experience the journey from a different perspective. Riding through rural roads surrounded by mountains, canyons, farms and the extraordinary landscape of the Serra Catarinense, the destination gradually becomes almost secondary. The road itself becomes the experience. My companion on this journey is Monster, the affectionate nickname I gave my Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster 1200. A beautiful British cruiser with a distinctive personality, Monster combines the relaxed riding position of a cruiser with the unmistakable pulse and sound of its parallel-twin engine. Its deep growl is part of the soundtrack of every journey — sometimes reminding me of a very angry dog, in the best possible way. All riding footage was captured in 360° with an Insta360 X4 and edited with a deliberately natural approach — minimal effects, minimal filters and minimal intervention. The intention is not to make the road look more dramatic than it really is, but to bring you as close as possible to what it feels like to actually be there. Fifteen minutes on the road. No rush. No talking. Just riding. Original Soundtrack and Film by Dan Costa Marques
